We give, yes - but the children give so much too! Its always been a “win/win” as the closeness of such an experience cannot fail to have a profound and prolonged positive effect - It’s brilliant!

Often the kids come from really challenging backgrounds on top of the having to deal with their disability. Its a real privilege to be able to lift their spirits all-be-it for just one week.

What a great experience going to Lourdes with the HCPT is, and one which touched my heart with random acts of kindness from all the pilgrims that go. The generosity of heart and care for each other is truly magical . 

To be part of such a huge community of like minded people, all with the same vision of helping special needs kids is heart warming, and inspiring. The HCPT community out there is phenomenal and unlike anything else.

It’s wonderful to see how the children grow and develop through the week. The parents often comment that they have seen a noticeable change in their children when they return.

It's a challenging and stimulating holiday with buckets of fun thrown in! Where else does one encounter special needs children, unless you have a relation or work in that field? It's a fantastic experience and very rewarding!
